Mr. Han-Joon Jeon is a senior manager of Public Asset Planning and Management Department at KAMCO. He is currently responsible for development and disposal of public sector-owned real estate assets to deliver greater value from public sector assets. His responsibility also includes policy recommendation for improving the management of public sector property that is currently underused or has the potential for development. Mr. Jeon joined KAMCO in 2002, and managed distressed assets such as non-performing loans(NPLs) and insolvent real estate loans resulting from the financial crises of 1997 and 2008. He was also responsible for project management of state-owned properties like government offices, affordable housing complexes, and he played a key role in turning around distressed real estate development projects like unfinished housing estates. Mr. Jeon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Hongik University, and received an MBA from the College of William & Mary’s Mason School of Business.
