About Hanjun Ng
I started working as an educator in our little island city. Never would I have thought that I would let go of whatever I have fought so hard for in 10 years and walk away. What was the magic? It was my firstborn. I simply was not able to leave him behind with another caregiver and work for 12 to 14 hours a day. No, I could not. Took a deep breath and I resigned. No regrets as I am a mother of 3 today. When people ask me what is my career? I am a mother. That is my lifelong career. One that grows onto my day by day and brings me through all kinds of highs and lows. I was introduced into the world of entrepreneurship after I left the education sector. It was a whole new world of learning. It has been a thrilling ride since I started. No one has taught me how to manage a business before. Look, my Bachelor degree is in Mathematics and my Masters degree is in Curriculum & Teaching. Never have I learnt how to do accounts, human resource, procurement, marketing, sourcing, etc. It is truly an eye-opener towards how much I have learnt and can still learn in the journey ahead. A believer of lifelong learning, I take alot of pride in my work with my colleagues at Get Moving Physiotherapy. Been there since the start and have witnessed the growth and expansion. What an invigorating journey! Today, I have to toggle my time between work and family. It is hard to strike a balance. Even as I am typing this, it is only because all my children go to bed at 8pm and I have that peace and space to put thoughts into words. As a mother, as an entrepreneur, there is a need to take care of my health. You can catch me going for my runs. On days when I need to zone out, I will be having a good cup of coffee from Dalkomm or Yahava. I love Get Moving. I love to see our clients Get Moving again. I love to see how we can link people in the community up to improve their quality of lives through us. I love to continue to work with our staff to help them level up in their profession.
