A practical and results-driven executive with more than 15 years developing, refining, and implementing organization/government-wide goals and objectives on local, state, and federal levels.Most recently, I was the Deputy of the Chief Operating Officer at the nation’s largest university system, the State University of New York (SUNY) where I was tasked with re-envisioning the digital experience for students and staff at the 64 campus, 400,000 student institution. The goal was to achieve greater, high-quality access to college degrees, particularly for underserved communities throughout the state of New York. Over the course of two and a half years I championed all of the operational aspects of developing a comprehensive $500 million investment strategy, which was adopted at one of 3 pillars of the SUNY Chancellor’s agenda.I also have expansive depth and breadth of experience at the highest levels of higher education, banking, budgeting, corporate policy, government policy, start-up entities, crisis management, presidential and state politics, facilities and events management, and many other fields. I was part of the original team who successfully started a sudo-de novo small community bank in 2009 in Oklahoma; grew the bank to over 100 employees, with over 135 investors by raising over $37 million; purchased a bank with $10 million in assets and grew it to over $450 million in assets in less than 6 years, where I participated in dozens of community and banking related activities. I am well-versed in the entire lifecycle of achieving policy goals, from ideation to implementation; including researching, analyzing, preparing findings and recommendations, advocating for them, gaining broad support, and seeing them through to full implementation.
