• Responsible for eligibility determinations of all student-athletes.• Responsible for extensive compliance education with members of the athletics department and a diverse campus community.• Audit and review all information dealing with NCAA Bylaws and Constitutions.• Collection of all data for submission of reports to various sport and university regulatory agencies.• Collect, review, and submit information for waivers of NCAA legislation.• Primary contact for athletics department staff for all NCAA related compliance and regulatory matters. • Responsible for continually evaluating and improving athletics compliance systems and for reviewing possible NCAA rule changes and evaluating them and their potential impact on University of North Carolina at Charlotte athletics.• Assume responsibility for the maintenance of all compliance related records in accordance with NCAA and University record retention policies.- Direct day to day oversight of Strength and Conditioning, Athletic Training, Life Skills, Student Athlete Leadership Programming, and various departmental human resource matters.- Oversight of departmental Risk Management decisions and policy.

• Help in planning of all areas of the athletic department including compliance, marketing, strategic planning, and game day operations.• Implement and oversee all areas of NCAA, CUSA, and Florida System rules compliance. • Develop policy to work with registrar, financial aid, admissions, housing, dining, and student affairs to ensure NCAA compliance on all areas of campus. Areas of oversight include but are not limited to amateurism, recruiting, academics and eligibility, financial aid, awards and benefits, and playing/practice seasons. • Distribute and track NLI’s and all financial aid agreements.• Assume responsibility for the planning and implementation of all team compliance meetings, and all rules education programs including those for athletes, coaches, administrators, and boosters. • Directly responsible for all NCAA waivers and interpretations as well as annual APR, NCAA demographic, NCAA sports sponsorship reports, and APR penalty reports, waivers, and APR improvement implementation strategies. Also implement and track Title IX program in conjunction with SWA.• Oversight of three full time compliance staff and two interns as well as oversight of the Annual Compliance Budget. • Oversee intern program which collaborates with local law schools for interns.

• Served on the senior staff of the University of Louisiana at Monroe and as a member of the senior staff of the athletics department staff. Additionally, I serve as the Event Manager with total oversight of all events for Men’s and Women’s Basketball games including oversight of tickets, parking, egress and ingress of patrons, and event operations staff.

• Assist in the day to day operations of the Gardner-Webb University athletics compliance office. • Primary contact for all coaching staffs with questions in regards to tickets, playing and practice seasons, recruiting issues, and all official visit paperwork. • Introduction to AdmitGold admissions software and extensive use of LSDBi, NCAA CAi, and serve as a contact with the NCAA Eligibility Center. • Assist in the sending out of National Letters of Intent and serve as a secondary contact for Gardner-Webb Compliance to the NCAA. • Oversee and direct the Gardner-Webb Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.• Served on the Athletics Certification Committee, the Faculty Athletic Committee, and the Gardner-Webb Retention Committee. • Assist in the day to day operations of the Elon Athletics Compliance Office, monitor day to day activities to ensure compliance, assist in LSDBi research, served as auxiliary contact for athletic staff regarding compliance issues. • Assisted in the maintenance and evaluation of standard NCAA Compliance forms, and cultivated a familiarity with recruiting and compliance software including JumpForward, Compliance Assistant, and LSDBi. • Responsible for continually evaluating and improving athletics compliance systems and for reviewing possible NCAA rule changes and evaluating them and their potential impact on Elon University athletics.
