Auckland Central Interceptor project led by Watercare and Ghella Abergeldie Joint Venture. Civil pipelines, site engineering, site set-out, manhole, haul road, and wastewater infrastructure construction. Three main sites, Mangere Wastewater Treatment Plant (MWWTP) , Keith Hay Park CC09- Link Sewer, and Miranda Reserve. Understanding of WWTP processes and confluence chamber MWWTP, 5x manhole construction with sheet piling at CC09, retaining wall reinforcement for Miranda.Range of roles working in the site office and on-site construction including drafting up work-plans, reading drawings, leading toolbox talks, daily pre-starts, write-ups of inspection test plans, cost-ups, quality control, safety data sheets, and complying with HSNO. On-site practical skills include sheet-piling, steel tying of reinforcements, rigging and chaining, spotting, surveying, and all sorts of hand tools and machinery.

Holding the role of Project Manager for the team, this internship focused on the Goodall Road x Mahurangi East Road transport infrastructure improvements. Working together as a team to meet project deadlines for project planning, impact/effect assessments, stakeholder analysis, safe system auditing, risk assessment, and site analysis to provide a comprehensive project proposal on potential solutions to the project.
