Manage marketing and BD activities for the Corporate Department, its attorneys and practice groups, including (at various times) Agriculture and Food; Aviation; Benefits and Compensation; Entertainment; Financial Institutions; Franchising; Global Services – EU, Japan and China; Immigration; Lending and Finance; Mergers and Acquisitions; Private Equity and Venture Capital; Private Client Services; Private Investment Funds and Asset Management; Renewable Energy; Supply Chain; and Tax.• Serve as point for all marketing and BD initiatives, managing appropriate team members.• Manage budget process for the department, its leaders and attorneys, and assigned groups.• Coach chairs, heritage attorneys and new lateral attorneys on developing practice group plans, BD pipeline reports, attorney BD plans and lateral integration plans. • Serve as project manager for attorneys in planning seminars, events, sponsorships, conferences and webinars. • Develop pitches, RFP responses and presentations to BD targets, averaging 130 annual pitches, responses and presentations.• Manage internal databases such as Deal Tracker that capture experience for attorneys and practice groups and feeds that experience to biographies; ranking and accolade submissions; pitches and RFP responses; and the firm's website.• Utilize research tools such as PitchBook, Monitor Suite, D&B Hoovers and Google to synthesize and summarize strategic information on BD opportunities and targets.• Lead responses to rankings, accolades and awards opportunities, responding to Billboard Magazine; Variety Magazine; Chambers USA; The Best Lawyers in America; U.S. News - Best Law Firms; Super Lawyers; Association for Corporate Growth; and The American Lawyer.

Prosecuted cases from initial hearing to closure by bench or jury trial, plea agreement or dismissal. Framed and advocated legal and factual positions in trials and hearings. Screened, charged and prosecuted cases referred through Adult Protective Services. Created and implemented an end around strategy of developing and charging tax evasion cases against defendants that financially exploited victims who had subsequently passed away or became legally incompetent to testify. Screened defendants against statutory criteria and office policy for admission into the mental health diversion program.
