Hank and his wife Theresa opened Designs In Rugs, Inc. in 1982. For forty years they've designed and manufactured pre-made and custom rugs for high end interior designers and furniture stores.Designs In Rugs served as the primary flooring contractor and flooring designer for the Busch Garden in the 70s and 80s, and they also designed custom rug applications for The Old Swiss House at Anheuser-Busch Brewery. Hank & Terri were also members of the consulting group for the remodeling of the Kennedy Space Center Headquarters in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Designs In Rugs has also done several projects with NASA. They created a custom NASA logo rug that was installed in the office of the Director of NASA Operations. And they were also commissioned to design a custom, one-of-a-kind carpet with the NASA logo on it for the main lobby of NASA's headquarters in Washington, D.C.Hank and his wife have a passion for design, and love to create the perfect piece to compliment a room.
