The project aim was to utilize and evaluate pharmaceutical sales information of OTC medicines from community pharmacy for public health and policy development purposes. Research Interest: Pharmaceutical public health, medicines misuse, syndromic surveillance, utilisation of electronic sales database post-marketing surveillance medicines and impact on health policy and medicines reclassification.The project involved working with a number of professional groups, such as NHS Direct Wales, Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP), Public Health Wales, and one major community pharmacy company. It has generated publications and presentations at international and national conferences.

Permanent part-time pharmacist at one of the largest community pharmacy chain in the UK, and developed the ability to work under pressure in busy environments. Service provided include both advance and enhance services as well as dealing with nursing home clients (monitored dosage systems) at some locations.
