Responsible for everything "web" related within the enterprise, from service negotiations on infrastructure, to setting up the network, to architecting the new e-commerce applications, to developing the reporting and administration systems for the e-commerce applications, to setting the direction the company will take on the Internet.Analyze current e-commerce websites and architect replacement system for enterprise wide deployment. The new system was built using ASP.Net (VB.Net/C#), SQL Server 2000 (management and development) and Verisign Cybercash for the payment engine.Evaluate current IT security as it relates to internal and external networks and secure/monitor as necessary. Provide analysis and formulation of disaster recovery plan for sensitive company data.

Reporting to executive management the analyses of current IT projects, technologies, and staff. Architect solutions for financial document management and the workflow for the financial reporting systems using new and/or existing technologies within the enterprise.Analyze and architect hybrid intranet system for enterprise wide deployment using a combination of SAP as the financial back-end, Oracle 8 as the datastore, Microsoft Exchange server as the collaboration system and active server pages (ASP) as the front-end. The system ties together workflow, document flow and financial information from disparate locations throughout the enterprise.Redesign current Investor Relations Internet site into a dynamic internet/intranet/extranet site using PHP 4 and MySQL to provide financial, statistical, and contact information for shareholders, bondholders, bankers, analysts and suppliers. The intranet portion had administrative pages for easy updates of time critical financial information as well as a financial portal for internal use.
