About Neil Hanlon

I am a seasoned Linux developer with over a decade of experience in the field. I have had the privilege of being a founding member of the RESF (Rocky Enterprise Software Foundation). Currently, I serve as the infrastructure team lead for Rocky Linux and I am also a member of the Release Engineering team.One of my significant contributions has been to the development and maintenance of Peridot, a robust and scalable open-source build system built at the RESF. It has been an exciting journey to work on this project and witness its growth.Contributing to open-source projects is a real passion of mine. As a Core Reviewer for OpenStack-Ansible, I actively engage with the Linux and open-source community. Additionally, I have been involved as a Fedora packager, allowing me to interact and collaborate with fellow enthusiasts.I find great satisfaction in sharing my knowledge and expertise with others. It is always fulfilling to see how my contributions can make a positive impact and help others in the community. Furthermore, I am constantly seeking opportunities to innovate and improve upon existing technologies, as I believe that progress is essential for the growth of the open-source ecosystem.
