With an associate degree in social sciences from Sheridan College, I have a solid foundation in psychology, sociology, and anthropology. These disciplines help me understand and relate to the diverse and inclusive communities I work with as a special education (SPED) teaching assistant at Campbell County School District.For over seven years, I have supported the SPED teachers and students in various activities and tasks, such as facilitating the implementation of individualized education plans, assisting with classroom management, and providing academic and behavioral support. I have also collaborated with the SPED team and the parents to ensure the best outcomes for the students. My core competencies include communication, empathy, patience, and creativity. My mission is to help every student reach their full potential and thrive in a supportive and respectful environment.
