As a key member of the corporate management team at Arlanda Express, reporting directly to the CEO, I lead all things IT—covering Development, Operations, Infrastructure, and IT Security—across every area of the business.When I joined, the digital landscape was stuck in a critical standstill. I implemented a bold IT strategy that transformed our legacy "silo architecture" into a cutting-edge, microservices-based, API-first, cloud-native SaaS, and headless ecosystem. This overhaul powers every part of our commercial operations, including all sales channels (app, web, and TVMs), ticket-checking systems, customer service tools, and the connected backend infrastructure. The transformation didn’t stop there. I spearheaded our move to the cloud (Azure), introduced advanced analytics, and built a robust data layer to unlock new digital capabilities. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, I ensure our IT solutions drive real impact and deliver maximum value.

I managed the marketing project portfolio, making sure the projects were delivered on time, with the correct scope and within budget. I worked closely with teams across marketing and IT to figure out what was needed to get things done. From start to finish, I oversaw projects, tracked their impact, and led a team of project managers and consultants. I also handled the IT budget and kept things running smoothly with the IT team.

I played a key role in setting up and maintaining processes, methods, and tools for a division of about 300 employees. My responsibilities included portfolio management, enterprise architecture, IT security, and overseeing both agile and traditional methods and tools used in the IT department. I was instrumental in creating a new governance organization for the division, working closely with the management team on strategy, priorities, and overall direction alongside the division manager. I also led the enterprise architects within the division to drive success.

I managed a team of 16 system architects and was a highly appreciated leader, known for coaching and open communication to help my team thrive. I ensured their skill development aligned with IT strategy and operational goals while driving strategic projects, change management, and the division’s overall development. I was also responsible for recruitment, staffing, salary administration, and annual salary reviews, making sure the group had the right skills to succeed.

Successfully led the replacement of a deployed system, taking full ownership of both system management and extensive project leadership to ensure a seamless transition. Drove projects from concept to completion, consistently delivering solutions on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Managed a team of approximately 15 people, fostering collaboration and achieving outstanding results as a strong and effective leader. Applied H&M’s management model, inspired by PM3, to streamline operations and ensure efficient project execution.
