As a Product Manager I am responsibility for sales, assortment, marketing and strategies within my categories both for the Media Markt stores and online.

The main responsibility was to negotiate agreements and prices with the contact lens suppliers. I was also responsible to plan and execute joint campaign activities to increase sales and profit. Another part of the job was to make sure that the assortment is up to date and to follow the market trends and how the category is developing. My daily work contained a lot of analyzes of both sales and purchase numbers.

In this position I was responsible for both purchase and sales for selected categories within e-commerce. Regarding purchase I was responsible for negotiating agreements, prices and campaigns with the suppliers. When it comes to sales I was responsible for the sales price, profit and turnover. I was also responsible for developing my categories and make sure the assortment was up to date.

My main responsibility was to negotiate prices with the suppliers and to make sure that the company bought the right quantity to the right price. An important part of the job was to create long-term relationships with the supplier therefore it was necessary to have good social skills. I was also responsible for the product development for new products from idéa to launch.

I was responsible for the supply planning of goods to all campaigns. My responsibility went from planning and forecasting the volumes to making sure that the orders left the warehouse in time. An important part of the work was to be able to coordinate delivery- and production time. To be able to succeed it was critical to be able to work closely both with suppliers but also with other departments.
