I bring people, cultures, and ideas together through translation and education.Since 2011, I’ve worked as an interpreter and translator for Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) ⇆ Portuguese ⇆ English, contributing to events and conferences for organizations like the United Nations (UN), the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), Coldplay (Brazil Tour 2023), and the World Association of Sign Language Interpreters (WASLI).In 2021, I co-founded Inclua, a consultancy dedicated to Libras, translation, and accessibility. At Inclua, we collaborate with projects and organizations that take inclusion seriously—not just as a buzzword. We provide solutions like Libras interpretation, audiovisual translation, and educational initiatives to promote literacy and inclusive practices.Balancing academia and the professional world, I work to bridge the gap between research and real-world needs for linguistic and communicational access. I hold a PhD in Linguistics from UFSC (2024), a master’s degree from the University of Barcelona (2018), and a law degree from UFJF (2016). My academic path includes roles in projects like the Bi-national Bimodal Bilingual (BiBiBi - UFSC and the University of Connecticut) and TILSJUR/UFSC, which focuses on sign language interpretation in legal contexts.I’m an active member of ACATILS and APIC, staying involved in both professional and academic spaces.
