Hello, I am the Manager of Instructional Design (ID) at symplr. symplr focuses on building the bridge to enterprise healthcare operations and beyond by helping to optimize healthcare operations so customers can focus on the highest level of care, leading to better outcomes. In my role, I utilize adult learning theory, curriculum development, as well as learning technologies and tools to lead successful learning & development (L&D) initiatives for our symplr products. I am also responsible for managing the ID team members. We develop standard product training curriculum through the use of our Content Management System (CMS), Xyleme, and help surface the content internally and to our customers through partnership with our Learning Technologies and Training Delivery teams. Additionally, I work with my team to create process documentation to streamline internal processes as well as program effectiveness and metrics tracking to continuously improve our learning experiences for our customers. I have been involved in projects in both Quality Assurance and Consulting Services before launching my career as a product trainer with the Learning Services Department. I moved into the Resource Management Office as a resource specialist, where I managed OneSource data for resource allocation and updated as well as created process documentation. I continued my career at TriZetto Corporation as a senior instructional designer for the Facets and NetworX Suite applications before transitioning to symplr. I have over 10 years of experience with healthcare services and technology.
