I am a senior studying Environmental Studies at the University of San Francisco with a focus on urban agriculture and environmental education. I am interested in working with children, the environment, and agriculture, which has led me to become an aspiring environmental, garden, and farm teacher. I am interested in expanding children's knowledge of the natural world around them and their awareness of the food they eat.I have worked hard on my studies, maintaining a 3.92 gpa, while expanding my love for growing food by volunteering at local environmental education and community garden nonprofits. I began my career of working with children as a babysitter many years ago. Since, I have worked as a tutor, summer camp counselor, and environmental educator, all along improving my organizational, creative, and time-management skills. I have been a passionate gardener all of my life and I now hope to pass my knowledge on to young children through school gardening, farms, and other outdoor settings.
