Qualitative and quantitative analysis of relevant student health and wellness data sources to identify key areas of concern for the University of Ottawa’s undergraduate population. 2. Conducting a gap analysis of the 2nd Edition of the Wellness Curriculum to identify potential gaps within the current curriculum and areas for improvement. 3. Development of key messages and research documents based on the most recent and accurate information from academic and grey literature. 4. As the Youth Engagement and Symposium Intern, I was responsible for coordinating the planning and hosting of the 2023 Nova Scotia Career and Employment Student Symposium. This was a virtual event where post-secondary students who had conducted research or had held employment related to career, employment or labour were able to present that work. This was a virtual event where post-secondary students who had conducted research or had held employment related to career, employment or labour were able to present that work. This included reviewing and updating any materials from past symposiums, emailing presenters once their submissions had been accepted and various other organizational tasks. Additionally, I worked alongside other members of the CEI team to develop two modules of a learning series focused on Youth-Focused Community Outreach for the Nova Scotia Works System. This included conducting an initial environmental scan to find best practices for online asynchronous courses, finding research, and developing activities for each module. Show less

I received the Irving Research Mentorship Award from St. Francis Xavier University to conduct this research. I read and analyzed three medical texts (The Trotula, Avicenna's Canon of Medicine, and Women's Secrets) to examine if there were any major similarities or differences between the texts. I worked alongside of 9 individuals completing 2-3 in-night shifts a week where we would conduct hourly rounds and interact with students. I provide resources, programming, and listening services to the students so that they can thrive during their time in the building.

I was responsible for corresponding with students, planning and developing meeting agendas, developing a symposium planning guide to be used in the following years, and creating the symposium schedule.
