I grew up in Nelson and have been based in the Hawkes Bay since 2012. I am one of the Nutrient Specialists for Ballance Agri-nutrients in the Hawkes Bay. In August 2014 I was awarded the Farmax emerging rural professional of the year. I passionate about agriculture and helping farmers achieve their goals through fertiliser and soil fertility. I am a Grand Prix dressage rider competing both nationally and Internationally. two highlights to date have been the Youth Olympics (team bronze) in Sydney and the World young rider champs in Frankfurt Dec 2009 finishing 12th overall. I have a few youngsters that I am looking forward to training through the grades. I also enjoy helping the younger generation understand the opportunities in agriculture. I have been involved in Young Farmers since 2008. I have been a mentor for the Iona Girls Teen Ag club and have spoken at the Young Farmers Get Ahead day for secondary school kids and the Napier Girls Careers expo day for the past two years. I am current the Northern TeenAg Liaison. I have been the secretary for the Eskview young farmers club and currently part of the Tikokino Young Farmers club as secretary.
