Some of my other responsibilities include managing continued professional education for employees, employee relations, maintaining compliance standards for the firm, and assist in HR consulting.

I developed a formal onboarding process. To create an onboarding process that would help new hires assimilate to the culture of CCM with better ease, we designed curriculum that not only offered training courses but also opportunities to connect with a variety of people within the organization, many possibilities to develop as an employee, and consistent manager to employee check-ins. I learned how to develop training courses using Articulate 360. I developed over 15 training modules for the company in a wide variety of subjects from Human Resources to Safety. Along with developing the onboarding process I also had the opportunity to get involved in multiple training sessions. I helped handle the organization and planning of events, introduced hosts and visitors to the company, and offered suggestions for future training sessions.I also worked with Human Resources to develop a new recruiting strategy for manufacturing employees where I developed advertising, resume guidelines, appropriate communication on employee referrals, and overall introduction to employee screening. I collaborated with Human Resources to analyze the company’s current campus recruiting strategy. We brainstormed to improve the relationship between college students and their knowledge of Carlisle Construction Materials through career fairs, on campus involvement with student organizations, and reaching a younger audience on social media.This internship gave me a better insight to Human Resources from a business aspect and allowed me to develop and use my skills, knowledge, and abilities in a variety of subjects. I appreciated the opportunity to problem solve and embrace the ambiguity in my given projects. I developed skills in instructional design developing E-Learning modules, business communication, public speaking, strategic planning, and collaboration.

Trained new employees and participated in hiring decisions, prepared take-out orders upon customer request, scheduled reservations and events, operated Point of Sales system, provided excellent customer service.
