Currently I am in my final year of my BA English Literature degree at Kings College London. This degree is academically aiding my writing skills and furthers my already passionate love of literature. My degree acts a stepping - stone for a potential professional career as Journalist, and I’ve already begun to develop my experience within this area. As current, I am a student Editor in Chief for The Tab King’s, where I am responsible for leading a team of writers, editing and uploading their and my own articles. Here I write about university life, female safety and mental health. This role has recently expanded to conducting and editing voxpop interviews on campus to be distributed on TikTok. Moreover, I regularly write for the national UK page for The Tab. Other work of mine includes opportunities with The Sunday Times as I was featured in an article in discussion of big topics of 2023, such as politics and AI. However, my greatest pursuit is finding a space where I can write with a focus on female representation. I most enjoy journalism in the style of Dolly Alderton, and this is mirrored in my own personal blog. This website has amassed a number of subscribers to the level of operating a mailing list for my readership. I am keen to access opportunities in which I can marry my love of writing with my passions in lifestyle journalism.
