Hello, my name is Hannah Coons. I'm originally from Granite Bay, California, but moved to Salt Lake City to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Accounting at the University of Utah. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting in 2023. My academic focus within accounting is in financial and audit accounting. Moreover, I have consistently earned a place on the Dean's List in 2021, 2022, and Spring 2023.In the past two years, I've tutored students in various math courses, providing guidance and problem-solving strategies to help them understand the material. I'm also a member of the Accounting Club at the University of Utah, where I connect with students and expand my professional network within the accounting field. I've applied my accounting knowledge to assist my mom's business by managing the general ledger and negotiating with suppliers. From experience, I've become skilled in using software tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerBi, Tableau, Quickbooks, and various Adobe platforms. Beyond my academic pursuits, you can often find me in the mountains, enjoying skiing or hiking. I'm currently working towards becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) by December 2025.
