Designed and facilitated training for youth in Albania and Russia.Sports for Social Change: In support of recent police reforms in Ukraine and Georgia, the Police as Leaders in Athletics for Youth (PLAY) programs provided technical assistance in community policing and sports development. Oversaw multi-sectoral working groups in both countries and supported the establishment of a school-based basketball program and trained police as coaches in Georgia; initiated martial arts clubs for at-risk youth organized by juvenile prevention officers in Ukraine.

Managed programs focused on youth development, employment, and reproductive health while supporting local organizations with technical assistance. Co-facilitated Training of Trainers in the areas of life skills, internship and job placement, and entrepreneurship.•Ninaweza program, an impact evaluation of a comprehensive employability skills program model providing technical and life skills to young women living in Nairobi's informal settlements with support from the World Bank and Microsoft. •Tanzania Youth Scholars program; a 5-yr initiative that offers orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) ages 14 to 24 the opportunity through scholarships to attend secondary school or vocational training. Provided technical support to local staff and institutions, including National Vocational Training Institute in the areas of monitoring & evaluation, public private partnership development, and life skills. •Planning for Life-a global initiative offering best practices, tools and resources to promote the integration of reproductive health training into broader youth development programs. Oversaw sub-grants and provided technical support to local organizations in Kenya, Tanzania, India, Sri Lanka, and Jordan. Lead the development of an e-toolkit consisting of reproductive health and family planning resources for youth practitioners.

Provided administrative and program support to youth initiatives in the Middle East and Africa, including contracts and sub-award management, event planning for conferences in Washington DC and abroad, and coordination of organization’s knowledge management.

Provided capacity building for the Gulu Youth Center which offers, educational clubs, school outreach, and free HIV testing and counseling for adolescents living in post-conflict northern Uganda. Developed training plan to integrate life skills into the center’s offerings for young people.

Assisted with development and implementation of after-school program for 20-30 multi-cultural youth as well as supported refugee families through the resettlement process, including airport pick-ups, school registrations, and accessing social services.
