Working as a Marketing Executive at Franks Accountants provided me experience in social media management, blog content, website content and media publications.

Whilst finishing my degree (I completed this in June 2016) I began working as a Marketing Executive at Smiffys. I have progressed my copy-writing skills, writing content for the Smiffys.com and Smiffys.com.au websites, social media and blogs. This included finding curative content, as well as, creating my own content. The audience was aimed at trade (B2B) and consumer (B2C), therefore, I learnt to adapt my writing style for the respective audience, especially when writing and sending out emails. I helped with PR requests and built relationships with bloggers and celebrity personnel which gave us excellent media coverage. I have also learnt to use software, such as, Social Sign in, Hootsuite, Dotmailer, Google Analytics, WordPress and Crowdfire.

Whilst studying at York St John University, I worked part time at Beauchamp as a sales assistant. This developed my skills in cash handling, customer service and stock replenishment. I was the only one in the store on my shift so I was responsible for opening and closing the store, as well as, dealing with any problems that arose.

In addition to my part time role at TLA, I also took on a part time job at Uppercrust in the Moto Service Station over the summer, before moving to York.
