September 2015-Present, Tooling & Pressed Parts Group FinanceMy main role within the team is to report the cost per hit for individual parts across all press lines within the group. This is performed on a monthly basis. Furthermore, I report the performance to the senior management team on a weekly basis, which is used in conjunction with the financial analysis to improve performance and highlight areas for concern. I also analyse future investment opportunities, creating business cases to analyses their viability. I performed the business case for a new £75m investment on a press line in Halewood plant.September 2014-August 2015, Capital Investments, Halewood Plant FinanceI controlled any Capital Investment Projects in the plant, approving projects and tracking the project from inception to capitalisation. During this period I capitalised the facilities for a major product programme, worth close to £150m. I was the first person to do this using the new system, SAP. I was also the finance Business Partner for the site Estates team, being their first point of contact for any issues that were finance related.September 2013-August 2014, Global Business Expansion FinanceI spent 12 months gaining experience in a month end role in the team, tracking actuals, and inputting the budget/forecast to central. I was also involved in a project to build a financial appraisal model for future international expansion projects.

I worked in Barcelona on placement as part of my university degree, in order to improve my Spanish and gain experience in the workplace. I work; This job involved a great number of tasks, from helping directors with their English to attending meetings/conference calls with our counterparts in the UK. I also translated official documents, organised travel arrangements and wrote news articles that were circulated internally.

I maintained a part-time job between the ages of 14 and 21, proving to be adaptable and flexible as I was involved a variety of tasks. I greatly increased my communication skills as I interacted with both co-workers and customers. My responsibilities increased to organising tables, bookings and even managing the restaurant during some shifts. My confidence in problem solving has increased thanks to having to deal with customer complaints.
