Planned and facilitated one-on-one meetings with undergraduate students to discuss their educational plans, personal growth, and professional development. I also helped connect students to campus resources and engagement opportunities. As a lead mentor, I helped plan and facilitate monthly staff meetings and also provided additional assistance to other mentors.

Ensure the safety and security of students living in the residence halls by completing "on call" shifts, which means that I have to help in responding to policy violations and emergency situations. In order to be prepared for this role, I went through two weeks of training to learn about duty response, crisis management, conflict mediation, program planning, campus resources, and diversity of values and beliefs. For my own hall, I was responsible for planning and facilitating educational programs to hold for the residents that I supervised. I also was assigned around 10 duty shifts per quarter, in which I was "on call" overnight. This would mean that I would be responsible to respond to emergency situations, as well as policy violation situations. Being in the "returner role" I had the additional responsibility of being a mentor to new student leaders.
