Hannah is a partner in the disputes team at Shoosmiths and head of the London office. Prior to Shoosmiths, she was a partner in Goodwin Procter’s disputes team and White & Case’s disputes team. These roles followed having previously spent many years at Weil, Gotshal & Manges where she was co-head of the London International Dispute Resolution Department.Hannah has represented clients across a breadth of sectors including private equity, corporates, technology companies, banks and she has advised on litigation for some of the world’s largest insolvencies/restructurings.Hannah also has experience in contentious intellectual property matters and has expertise in advising clients on contentious tax matters. Hannah has advised on a wide range of complex commercial cross-border and domestic disputes. Particular areas of expertise include managing disputes arising from issues such as: breach of contract; misrepresentation; fraudulent misrepresentations; fraud; jurisdictional matters; shareholder disputes (of all manner, such as minority shareholder disputes, SPA and shareholder agreement disputes, pre-emption disputes and breaches of warranty); cross boarder regulatory investigations; intellectual property disputes; fiduciary duties; cross-border insolvencies; financial disputes; and contentious tax matters. Hannah is ranked in Chambers and Partners for corporate and commercial litigation and has been named a “Rising Star” by Legal Week, earning praise for being part of the “new generation of litigators making their mark.” She is also recommended for her technology, media and telecoms expertise by Legal 500 UK as well as for tax disputes and has been acknowledged for her “commercial” approach. Hannah was selected to the London Super Lawyers list for commercial litigation experience.
