Currently working as a Software Engineer within the Bitesize team at the BBC, using React, CSS/SASS, TypeScript, GraphQL, Node and AWS. I'm also enjoying learning more about accessibility and experimentation to make use of my previous health and research knowledge (listed below!).Before that, I was undertaking a PhD exploring adverse childhood experiences incorporating a socio-ecological approach. I worked as a research assistant in the Public Health Institute at Liverpool John Moores University, within the World Health Organisation Collaborating Centre for violence and nightlife. I have experience of carrying out research using focus groups, observational studies, interviews, surveys, case file reviews, social media analysis, systematic literature reviews, and in all stages of project development and implementation.I do a lot of knitting (http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Greyhannah), make things out of clay, and do a bit of yoga.
