Leading and supporting the delivery of changes across Health & Social Care in the UK. Working hand in hand with NHS and government organisations to implement sustainable change to solve their biggest operational challenges. Recent major projects including:Designed and led a two-year long programme to reshape a London borough's services to achieve their strategic ambition for residents with Learning Disabilities, delivering annualised savings of £3m. I supported the leadership team to manage and steer the direction of the programme, including engagement with service users, staff and cabinet members through consultations and cabinet papers. I also managed a consultant and client team to engage frontline teams and co-produce the operational re-design of the service provision including performance and financial metrics. Led a project to define the future operating model of health and social care community beds across one of the UK's largest cities. This included designing, testing and implementing new operational processes in one of the community hospitals leading to a 10% reduction in patients’ length of stay and a third more patients returning home rather than to residential care.Supported diagnostic assessments across 14 health and social care systems in the UK focusing on frontline decision making, patient outcomes, delayed transfers of care and effective use of resources. Built actions plans with senior leadership to improve in key areas and identified multi-million pound savings. Created recommendations and conclusions for the national 'Why not home? why not today?' report commissioned by the Local Government Association and the Better Care Fund.
