Venture For America is a national nonprofit and two-year Fellowship program that gives recent college graduates firsthand startup experiences to help them become strong leaders. Fellows learn important startup skills at Training Camp, apply for jobs within the company network, and work for two years as full-time, salaried employees in one of 13 cities. When Fellows are ready to start a company — be it two years after college or nine — VFA has the resources (like a crowdfunding competition and accelerator) to help make that dream a reality.

- Organize the Alumni Lecture Series and cater to a wide range of student interests - Host professional development workshops and foster relationships with other student organizations- Cultivate a community of like-minded students across all majors - Connect students with alumni mentors in their perspective fields

-Participated in weekly development meetings and provided feedback to writers on submitted projects, and made decisions on which projects to proceed with -Participated in weekly legal meetings and followed up with legal when necessary-Created pitch presentations for productions we are selling-Developed data organization systems for clients

-Managed all Smith Library Center social media pages-Designed advertising campaigns for specific events-Collected student feedback, took steps to make information more accessible, and provided student perspective to committee of marketing supervisors-Planned and facilitated engaging events along with other library staff to provide a positive experience to students, staff, and faculty
