About Hannah Halpern

I’m an educator, curriculum designer, and program manager passionate about advancing equity and social justice through transformative learning experiences. Drawing on my background in literacy education and experiential learning, I design standards-aligned curricula that inspire critical thinking, foster student agency, and connect learning to real-world issues through a historical, inquiry-based lens. Students are empowered as we center our learning on activism and organizing—amplifying their voices as the true changemakers of their communities and beyond. As a former teacher, I fostered a love of learning in my students by combining evidence-based literacy instruction with project-based experiences that connected academic content to their lives and communities. In my program management work, I’ve built and supported diverse teams, facilitated educator training, and designed community events that bring schools, families, and local organizations together. My work is grounded in the belief that education is a collaborative effort, and I strive to create programs that reflect the unique strengths and voices of all stakeholders. My approach combines creativity, a detail-oriented mindset, and a commitment to social justice to turn big ideas into programs that meet diverse needs and empower students, educators, and families alike. Let’s connect—I’d love to collaborate on building programs that make education more inclusive, engaging, and impactful.
