My PhD involved exploring potential biomedical applications of THz technology. I worked on quantitatively assessing the effects of different skin products on the hydration of the skin in collaboration with industrial partners. My studies also focussed on facilitating the development of good protocols for taking skin measurements to control some of the many other variables involved with taking measurements on live subjects such as pressure, location and temperature.

Teaching first year undergraduate Physics students guiding them through their experimental work and instructing them in good research practice, data analysis and data presentation. Also, marking students' work giving them written and verbal feedback.

Working with 6th form students from backgrounds that are currently under-represented in higher education to support them through a research project. I had regular meetings with the students to help them find a topic they were interested in and to teach them how to find resources. I also marked the essays they produced at the end of the programme and gave them feedback on how they could develop and improve.

Working with disability services at the University of Warwick to support students with disabilities through their studies. I attended lectures with the students and took notes on their behalf and where needed typed up the notes to meet the needs of the students. I met the students prior to working with them to discuss their requirements and adapted my work around them.
