As a Research Assistant in RIT's Day Lab, I conducted research on blood analysis under high-shear conditions. My primary research involved hemolysis testing, evaluating potential damage to red blood cells under high-shear stress. By designing experiments and analyzing data, I contributed to understanding the impact of shear forces on blood components. Additionally, I worked with thromboelastography (TEG) and spectrometry techniques. Using these advanced analytical methods, I investigated the coagulation properties and clotting dynamics of blood samples in high-shear conditions. This provided valuable insights into the hemostatic response of blood and clot formation characteristics.
