I produced podcasts for museums, history organizations, ans cultural nonprofits. My production work includes projects for the UK National Archives, Smithsonian Institution, The Fitzwilliam Museum, AASLH, and the Vagina Museum. I also taught about podcasting and consulted on alls aspects of podcasting for cultural nonprofits.

A nine month Fulbright fellowship to study Icelandic as a Second Language and research Icelandic museum culture through interviews.

I am responsible for all large-scale communication with members (email, bulk mail, social media, etc.), increasing awareness of AASLH's services and products, improving the member experience and increasing membership numbers, soliciting and managing several sources of non-membership revenue (job board, magazine ads, Annual Meeting sponsorship, etc.), maintaining the appearance of the AASLH website and member database, representing AASLH at conferences, and other roles related to marketing and membership. I also lead fundraising campaigns once to twice a year.

Manuscript digitization: Assist the institute in the process of digitizing its collection, which is a major undertaking. All the electronic color images of manuscripts need to be checked in order to make sure the images are clear and that no images are missing (which means checking the images against the actual manuscripts). Then the image files need to be named properly and uploaded to the online catalog of Landsbókasafn Íslands (National Library of Iceland), handrit.isThe cataloging of charters: There are still many medieval charters that need to be cataloged according to the guidelines for handrit.is. The entries are standardized and encoded in XML (TEI P5), using information from the physical charters as well as 19th and 20th century catalogues and editionsResearch Assistant: Assist Haukur Þorgeirsson on a project to edit a selection of Old Norse personal letters (sendibréf)
