I enjoy all forms of outdoor adventure and have sought to gain a broad range of experience with people of all ages and abilities. I helped establish a new watersport centre in The Lake District with Stoked Watersports based at Fell Foot: National Trust and continue to support this business there and at their Gosport location whenever possible. Watersports have been my focus and I am a qualified Senior Instructor as well as having gained RYA Awards for Dinghy (plus Keelboat and Multihull) Instructor, Windsurf Instructor, Power Boat Instructor and British Canoeing Paddlesports Coach. Previous experience includes working as the Senior Instructor (Sailing) for a multi-activity centre at Chichester Harbour and successfully completing a full year as part of the Instructor Development Programme on the Menai Strait with Plas Menai working for Sport Wales. I have also trained whilst a student with Rockley and at UKSA on the Solent and completed my Climbing Wall Instructor award. My experience of Outdoor Adventure through work, study, and achieving the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award, has developed my passion for work in this industry. I am continuously looking for opportunities to develop my practical skills and qualifications wherever I can while encouraging others to enjoy outdoor activities too.I like working as part of a team with clear goals, a professional attitude and high standards. I gained Distinction for my foundation degree (HND) course demonstrating my ability to work hard and show commitment in all that I do. I am honest, practical, determined, and willing to try new things outside of my comfort zone and have a heartfelt concern for the health and well-being of others.Outside of work, I belong to the 'Institute of Outdoor Learning', 'British Canoeing', the 'RYA' and the 'BMC'. I get outdoors as much as I can including sailing, climbing, running, cycling and kayaking. I won Junior Female of the Year 2017 for racing at the British Canoeing Club of the Year 2017 (Leighton Buzzard). My Christian faith is important to me.
