Hannah Jacobi is an art historian, writer, and curator. In 2021, she co-founded mohit.art, a transcultural network and platform for cooperation between West Asia and Europe, which she still co-directs today. She also published "Stimmen aus Teheran," (Edition Faust, 2017) a collection of interviews with artists, theorists, and gallery owners from Tehran, examining the different approaches to art production in relation to Iran's sociopolitical climate. From 2011 to 2021, she researched and organized significant projects at Berlin's Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW), bridging the gap between art and theory. Her articles on contemporary art in Iran and other local art scenes in West Asia have been featured in various publications including Canvas, Il Sole 24 Ore, Herfeh: Honarmand, springerin, Tagesspiegel, and taz.
