As a Data Quality Associate (DQA) I was responsible for the review of current and past case notes collected by National Human Trafficking Hotline. Throughout the data collection process I worked both independently and collectively with the Data Analysis Program to analyze and classify sensitive information based on guidelines to ensure high quality data outputs. During my time as a DQA I developed an in depth knowledge on the subject of Human Trafficking. During my Fall 2018 semester at the George Washington University I had the opportunity to complete an independent academic research project on the topic of Gendered Dynamics in Labor Trafficking Trends in the United States. This project was reliant on the use of pre-approved hotline data as well as Polaris statistics and reports.

As a Congressional Intern at Peace Corps, I held many versatile and evolving duties. Highlights of these tasks include assisting in the the completion of constituent correspondences. This task included the drafting and editing of letters sent to Peace Corps Volunteers and Returned Peace Corps Volunteers addressing their questions of concern. In addition to this task I assisted in the organization of the event, Peace Corps on the Hill. This event included participation from Peace Corps Director Jody Olsen and Members of the Peace Corps Caucus. Finally, within this role I planned and participated in regular and informative briefings with Congressional Offices. This included assisting Congressional offices in extending support to Peace Corps Volunteers and the agency itself.

In this position I was responsible for collecting and analyzing information from various data sources for the purposes of conducting due diligence on current and potential donors. In addition to this task this position included the research for potential donors and funder engagement opportunities. Within this position I was able to assist in the organization of agency wide events within Peace Corps Week - an annual event centered around the celebration of the anniversary of the creation of the agency.

In this position I was responsible for collecting data from medical records and federal/international documents into IRIS software throughout the resettlement process. As an intern I was responsible for scheduling medical appointments and emergency visits with local practitioners and non profits. I assisted in the filing and collection of medical and insurance documents. I worked directly with clients to improve or repair insurance dilemmas. Outside of my initial duties I also took on the responsibilities of a casework intern by filing migration and public education documents. Within KRM I also assisted in the planning and completion of multiple community outreach and fundraising events.
