Assisted in the development of web-handling industrial machine design for thin-film plastics.  Conducted structural and heat transfer analysis on various web-handling rolls (casting, extruding, stretching, slitting and folding). Created SolidWorks models and detailed component drawings for industrial machines; created detailed drawings for top-level machine assembly.  Organized and led Kick-Off and Design Review meetings for several different projects. Created P&ID schematics and I/O lists of machine elements. Provided support to production during assembly of several different web-handling machines.

CIRCM Program Support, Internship Performed structural analysis on the hardware of Pointer Tracker system, including assessment of stresses, loading, and probability of failure; created analysis documentation for program review. Reviewed and assessed pertinent Pointer Tracker drawings to ensure accurate size and weight management. Created detailed drawings within Pro Engineer of the full CIRCM assembly, representative of an interface Control Drawing and for potential use with AKit; center of mass analysis was conducted as part of this activity. Developed proficiency using PDM and parts procurement processes.
