•Determining system objectives for Minnesota’s MAXIS Data Reporting Model in the DHS Data Warehouse, which produces aggregate eligibility and payment data as well as individual case and person data on all programs administered by DHS whose eligibility is housed in MAXIS including SNAP, Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP or TANF), General Assistance (GA), and Housing Support.•Functioning as the lead systems designer, technical administrator, and technical expert on Minnesota’s MAXIS Data Reporting Model, which generates aggregate and individual level enrollment and payments data for all DHS administered programs whose eligibility is housed in MAXIS.•Ensuring that that federal SNAP data collection and audit requirements are timely and accurately met, and that federally-mandated SNAP waiver requirements can be calculated and monitored to ensure continued compliance within Minnesota’s combined TANF and food assistance program

• Develop, update, and review legislation, state and federal policy, and procedures for the Waiver Reimagine project, focused on individual budgets for people using Home and Community Based (HCBS) disability waiver services, including quality improvement and performance measures, budget exception policy, and county aggregate budget management• Co-lead the development of a budget methodology for children including gathering and analyzing data from MMIS, MnCHOICES, MAXIS, and SSIS and participating in a detailed individual record review alongside lead county staff• Lead the initial project launch and detailed business requirements gathering for a new, online portal for people with disabilities and their families to access personal health and budget information, including reviewing data needs from MMIS, MAXIS, MnCHOICES, and SSIS • Write and review legislative reports on the Waiver Reimagine individual budget method and other fiscal policy topics, such as controlling the growth of the customized living service

•Process eligibility for Medicaid, SNAP, and cash assistance using MAXIS, MMIS, PRISM, and METS •Research, analyze, and communicate policy changes to 700+ eligibility workers by writing weekly bulletins, updating internal policy and procedure manuals, and auditing cases •Design and lead project to improve accuracy for non-citizen public assistance cases by auditing 100 to 150 cases monthly, facilitating discussion among 4 to 8 cross-departmental staff and managers to work through current processing problems, and producing three main deliverables timely (audit analysis report, consolidated non-citizen eligibility worker resource guide in SharePoint, and work flow process maps for future specialty team)•Collaborate on cross-department process improvement and policy implementation by developing and facilitating ongoing in-person and online trainings and guides in MFIP allocation and SNAP ABAWD policy for experienced eligibility workers •Participate as health care policy subject matter expert in cross-service area work group focusing on aligning Medical Assistance application procedures across six regional human service sites with 700+ eligibility workers

•Interact with clients and advocates to obtain information needed to determine eligibility and review new information for completeness. •Determine eligibility for SNAP, MFIP and Medicaid programs regulated by federal, state and local jurisdictions •Respond to clients' inquiries about case status and additional social services during in-person office visits, phone calls, and emails,

•Research, plan, and teach lessons for daily English and Spanish literacy lessons in two pre-K class of 20+ native Spanish speaking students•Collect, manage and analyze student performance data by administering standardized literacy assessments in English and Spanish to 40+ students quarterly and collaborate with lead teacher to create targeted lessons based on student performance •Provide oral and written translation of school information, student behavior, and academic achievement reports to Spanish-speaking families
