As Client Services Executive for Rigzone, my role is to be the first point of contact for recruiters from a wide variety of oil and gas employers and recruitment agencies. I conduct training sessions on the site to ensure all the users are able to get the most benefit from Rigzone, whether this be through job posting or searching our CV database.I provide support and answer queries from any users of Rigzone. I gather feedback from both recruiters and candidates, and pass the comments over to the product development team to help make Rigzone the best tool in the industry for job seekers and advertisers alike.I have represented the company at exhibitions in order to meet candidates and clients.

As a Customer Support Officer for OneCodec Ltd, a small start up software business, my role encompassed a variety of responsibilities and expectations.My main role included building relationships with customers, and providing support for them by answering any questions or solving any issues they had. I was the interface between customers and the development team. I helped create and carried out usability tests on the application, to ensure the site was user friendly and intuitive. Results and feedback of these tests were collected, and fed back to the development team to help improve the website.I created and managed a customer database, cataloguing communications with clients. I regularly attended networking events on behalf of the company, helping me develop my networking skills.

John Lewis emphasises customer service to its employees so ensuring every customer had the best ‘customer experience’ was essential. I was a sponsor for new employees - welcoming them into the team, training them and giving them any other help they required.I was appointed Systems Champion for the introduction of a new computer system. This involved providing staff with training, ensuring they were comfortable when the system went live, and offering assistance when they found themselves in difficulty. I was elected Branch Forum representative by my colleagues, acting as both a confidante and supportive influence for them, while also acting as a go-between for employees and management, passing on opinions, and questioning and influencing decisions which affected the branch.
