Provide nutrition and gardening education to clients, manage the maintenance of 5 vegetable gardens for client use, and perform outreach and education around CalFresh, farmer's markets, and relevant community resources.

-Became a personal resource for on-campus residents;-Developed programming to increase awareness of current events within and without of the Whitman and Walla Walla Community;-Worked on the Staff Health Committee for the Interest House Community, organizing events, team building and bonding activities for other members of the staff;

Organized gleans around Walla Walla with local farmers who had excess produce;Took produce to Whitman College Glean Team's community partner, Blue Mountain Action Council, to then take to local food pantries;Tabled at local weekly Farmer's Markets to heighten community awareness of gleaning and food waste issues locally;Improved farmer to gleaner visibility and relationships;Developed strong relationships between Whitman College and Walla Walla community partners;

-Psychological research intern at Los Alamos National Laboratory- (June 2012-August 2012); learned MATLAB computer programming and wrote a PowerPoint Student Report on theresearch being done-Data entry/water quality intern at Los Alamos National Laboratory- (June 2013-August 2013); graphed water output and chemical contaminant data in Excel (volume vs. time, etc.) and put together a Student Report in PowerPoint format
