My primary goal as Digital Editor is to manage the three podcasts: The Weekly, a weekly audio digest-style podcast with stories from The Alabama Baptist and The Baptist Paper read by TAB Media staff and volunteers; Amplify: Conversations about life + faith, a seasonal conversation-style podcast with host Maggie Evans diving in to how our experiences impact our faith; and Stories with Grace Thornton, a seasonal serial-style podcast hosted and produced by Grace, which is a deep dive into people's lives, told in their own words.Duties for each podcast vary, but include production roles all the way from creating scripts from print material to managing volunteer and staff readers to recording podcasts pieces and episodes in our fully-functional podcast studio to editing audio files to scheduling out episodes using Libsyn Podcast Hosting.Other duties performed as Digital Editor include assisting with video production on various teams, including TrenPam Communications, by finalizing video ideas, making necessary edits and making sure they are on YouTube and sent out on social media in conjunction with their written story counterpart. I also work with TAB Media's president and editor-in-chief Jennifer Davis Rash in scheduling, editing, uploading and sharing the videos for our Special Report series.

I worked on a team of 3 to assist individual and church customers with any subscription, editorial or general requests. I answered the main phone line as well as managed the front door, greeting everyone who came to our office. Other duties included assisting with mail and financial duties and working in our subscription database to run our mailing list and coordinate with the printer as well as keeping information up-to-date.

This included managing multiple police scanners and sending out reporters and photographers to create stories for upcoming news hours.
