I believe yoga and mental health and wellness should be affordable and accessible to everyone regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, political or spiritual preference. We are all the same here just trying to make it through life.I graduated in 2018 with my BSN with hopes to help people feel healthy, gain autonomy of their body and a strong passion for preventative health. Working the hospital setting I quickly realized that I was seeing patients at "the end of the spectrum" and that there had been little to no preventative education for often times preventable diseases. After struggling with bouts of mental health issues I found myself again and my passion in yoga. I learned to connect with my breath, listen to my body, settle my mind and work through unsettled traumas. Yoga saved my life and unfortunately I have seen time and time again the yoga community look like a one size fits all approach; you have to look a certain way or wear certain things to be considered a yogi. I am here to debunk that myth and prove that anyone who is willing to journey inwards and connect can be whatever they choose to be. With my experience in healthcare and yoga I hope to bring connection and peace to others.
