HPET is a program collaborated between Ministry of Health and The World Bank. Its mission is to improve the quality of health professionals’ education and training, strengthen management competencies in the health sector and to improve primary healthcare capacity at the grass-roots level. Total IDA funding for the project is US$106million, the EU is funding US$10million and US$5million counterpart funding from the Government of Vietnam to support project management costs.My responsibilities:• Assisted international and local experts in performing technical tasks which included setting out workplan, performing primary and secondary researches, analysing the data, writing reports, proposing strategies and recommendations• Organised workshops, conferences and meetings which helped deliver effective training and guidance to project execution units• Acted as a contact point between the Project Management Unit and relevant parties such as the MOH's leaders and departments ,medical universities and colleagues, representatives of the WorldBank and EU.
