Hannah is a Program Manager at the Center for Aging and Serious Illness at Massachusetts General Hospital. She received her PhD from Boston University in Applied Human Development and her Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology from the University of Rochester. She has worked in a variety of research settings with a primary focus on education, early childhood development, and enhancing early education opportunities for students from diverse sociodemographic backgrounds. She is passionate about improving access to education and healthcare for all individuals, particularly those from diverse or disadvantaged backgrounds.In addition, as the Cultural Assessment Research Manager at the Center for Educational Improvement (CEI), Hannah leads the development and implementation of the School Compassionate Culture Analytical Tool for Educators (S-CCATE), a survey instrument that measures the social and emotional climate of schools, for a nationwide project in partnership with Yale University to provide professional development around compassionate school practices, particularly for educators in high-needs districts.
