Hello! My name is Hannah (she/her). I am the Production Manager of Cooperative Coffee Roasters in Western North Carolina. I am very proud to have been a part of the growth of this business from its second year. My role as the Production Manager has introduced me to a vast array of challenges that have required precision, care, and detailed organization and time management skills every single day. I have been able to collaboratively create and maintain systems for ensuring that we are putting out the best possible version of each coffee, with every batch we roast. We cup our coffees daily and constantly challenge ourselves to question alternative perspectives and palates. I am eager to continue supporting specialty coffee into the direction of sustainability and care that respectfully supports every human and the environment from seed to cup. These past few years in Asheville have been fun for the coffee community— It has been a privilege to be roasting coffee for every restaurant, cafe, and individual who has supported us. It has been a unique opportunity within Asheville to be a part of the curation of coffee for collaborative coffee beers with Dssolvr, Zillicoah, Cellarest Beer Project, Burial, and more. I have loved serving coffee and supporting events such as the Uncommon Market and Big Crafty, and I have especially enjoyed judging coffee competitions.Now we are gearing up for an exciting new chapter- Cooperative Coffee Roasters will be opening its first cafe in West Asheville in 2024!
