I am a multimedia artist, curator, and writer originally from South Florida and based in New York City. I work primarily in mixed media painting, exploring the capacity and limits of built space as a container— for beauty, growth, culture, and comfort. Much of my recent work celebrates Jewish culture while questioning the architecture of movement and migration. My minor in Urban Design and Architecture Studies greatly influences my artwork, and my former role at MTA Arts & Design, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s public art program, has furthered my appreciation for place-specific artwork and understanding of what makes art meaningful for communities. As a member of both Havurah and the Jewish Art Salon, both New York-based Jewish arts organizations, I cherish community and work to create impactful programming. Uplifting other artists' voices is a passion of mine, which I fulfill in my role as Director of 81 Leonard Gallery. Alongside founder and powerhouse artist Nancy Pantirer, I aim to provide emerging artists with a supportive environment and platform to experiment and mount ambitious projects. With my words, I illuminate artists' stories and provide an entry point to understanding.
