At Softcat I manage Elevate, which is a bespoke L&D programme designed to support mid-tenure sales staff through this stage of their Softcat journey. As a part of this, I organise all elements of the programme, including skills workshops, panel Q&As, and vendor sessions, liaising closely with our external training providers to ensure the highest quality of content and delivery. I also facilitate group coaching workshops for the delegates, and 1:1 coaching where required. I work closely with sales managers and other key internal stakeholders to ensure that the programme is meeting learning requirements across the business.

Post pandemic, Nimans realigned job titles and remits to the changes in the working world. Additions to my responsibilities included:• Introducing online learning to the business (to engage and train the remote workforce). This included purchasing an e-learning authoring tool and creating a library of online learning for staff. I created over 60 bespoke modules on topics ranging from sales, products and technology; to management, compliance and transferable skills. • The online offering received an excellent response, and so the business purchased a full LMS. I led this project; researching, trialling and selecting the right provider and implementing this including set up and design.

My role was to support and develop all staff across the business to up-skill the workforce and maximise performance. This included:• Maintaining and developing bespoke company-wide L&D solutions to align with business strategy.• Liaising with key business stakeholders to ensure solutions were effective.• Organising the quarterly L&D timetable and the associated admin and records.• Designing and delivering all in-house training workshops for staff at all levels and in all roles including management, sales, customer service and soft-skill topics. I also regularly created new bespoke material to meet business needs. • Facilitating team coaching/call listening to increase sales skills and performance.• Conducting training needs analysis for staff and facilitating 121 sales and customer service coaching to address those individual needs. • Supporting managers with team performance and with Performance Improvement Plans or CPD.• Organising and monitoring external training and consulting with budgets where needed.• Evaluating L&D initiatives to assess impact.

Greater Manchester

The 'programme' element of my role required me to manage the organisation and delivery of the ILM accredited Leadership Development Programme for volunteers on the Greater Manchester site. This included liaising with the Head of Programme Delivery to produce the timetable of training, working in partnership with external speakers or corporate visitors, designing and delivering training sessions, conducting evaluations, conducting training needs analysis and designing or sourcing new materials to address these needs. I also worked with the Head of Programme delivery to devise new material to improve the programme and keep up with new developments in the field of L&D. The 'Recruitment' aspect involved managing the end to end recruitment process as well as driving the team to recruit, onboard and retain high numbers of volunteers to meet ambitious regional targets as well as wider company targets. It also included developing strategic partnerships with key institutions and contacts to secure regular pipelines of young people and creating both short and long term strategies to ensure future growth. I also led a project with the wider recruitment team and directors to improve the recruitment process.

Supported, managed and trained a large team of volunteers, aged 18-25, throughout their volunteer year of service in Chorlton High School, Manchester, supporting disadvantaged students as near peer mentors. Managed their learning and development in order to ensure high performance in their roles as well as personal and professional development. Also managed all communication and relationships with school and collated/analysed data to measure the impact of the programme based on students attendance, behaviour and attainment.

Sheffield, United Kingdom

Responsible for the overall performance and growth of the Sheffield centre and for learning, development and training of my assistants with their roles. Drove the team in all areas of performance from retention of members to finance procedures to recruitment of staff and sales. Additionally dealt with all safeguarding matters, managing costs and revenue, and business development. Received extensive training on management and business, L&D and performance management and completed the 'Train the Trainer' course. As a result of this and my previous strong sales performance, I was selected as a Sales Specialist to train new recruits to the company in this area.

West Hampstead, London

Managed the end to end recruitment process for a team of 15 tutors, including rota, pay and onwards learning and development. Also managed finance procedures and coordinated the sales and marketing programme which involved organising and running events within local schools and community venues and developing strong relationships with key stakeholders. This was an area in which I excelled, and had the best sales performance within my London region during my first 6 months with the company. Day to day running of the centre involved general admin work, meetings, teaching, and quality customer service. Comprehensive training was provided in each area of this graduate scheme.

Managed three teams of activity leaders. Responsible for each of their training and development, rota and pay, quality of work and welfare. Planned the weekly schedule of activities on site and organised external excursions including staffing, travel and costs.
