I am a part-time respite provider under Idaho's Katie Beckett program for a local family. The family's 4-year-old child has the following diagnoses: level 2 autism spectrum disorder (nonverbal), global developmental delay and generalized epilepsy (atonic seizures)). My responsibilities follow.A) Supervise, assist and care for children (1-3 kids under 7 y/o) as needed and scheduled, B) Incorporate therapeutic suggestions as suggested by mother per occupational therapist, C) Safely transport children as needed/scheduled, D) Monitor and maintain child safety, E) Facilitate children's (child + sibling(s) or 1:1 with child) experience during scheduled time.
