I am a recent graduate of the University of Mississippi. I graduated in May with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Social Studies Education. I have worked in a local flower shop in Baldwyn, MS for six years where I gained experience in customer service, business management, and sales. I also have worked as a cook at Hometown Pizza in Baldwyn, MS during the summer of 2020. There, I strengthened my skills in costumer service while also learning time management skills. I gained hands-on experience in the field of education as a student teacher at Pontotoc Junior High School in Pontotoc, MS. I worked under the supervision Mr. Watts who was the 7th Grade US History teacher. At Pontotoc, I was given the opportunity to grow relationships with my students, manage the classroom, and instruct lessons within the classroom.All of the above listed jobs and roles have allowed me to grow into the teacher and role model I aim to be in the classroom.
