Interned at Village PR where I worked closely with the showroom manager to ensure the showroom was kept tidy and Fashion GPS was up to date. Helped putting together invitations to LFWM and also delivered invitations to different locations. Assisted with LFWM working on the door and ensuring the shows ran smoothly.

Over the summer I work as a waitress in a beach cafe. Here I familiarised myself with the ins and outs of waitressing as well learning how to make different types of refreshments. I worked on the till on many occasions where I interacted with customers and got to know the regulars. I learnt how to effectively time manage and how to handle demanding situations and customers.

Completed two weeks working with Westfield's marketing team at their head office. During this period I spent a week visiting some of the agencies working for Westfield including: Bompas and Parr, Portas, Arena Media and Hill and Knowlton. Also sat in on meetings for Westfield's Summer campaign which launched a few weeks after I finished. Had talks from members of the digital marketing and also tourist marketing teams. Spent time with the marketing executive at Stratford's centre to gain a view from a more operational perspective.

Netball is one of my passions so I decided to take this further and become a coach. In this position, I taught 9-14 year olds of all abilities how to play the game. I had my own group of about 10 girls who I worked with over the course of 2 years and watched them develop their game. This job was extremely rewarding and allowed me to advance my leadership skills.

I spent 1 week at Realys shadowing several different members of their team. I had the opportunity to work with the head of marketing and design objects for a conference that was being held in America. Similarly, I also created prototype portfolio's for some of the projects taking place including companies like Rolex. Alongside this, we also visited Hackett in London which had at the time, been refurbished by Realys. It was a brilliant experience and gave me a chance to look even deeper into positions like marketing which really appeal to me.

I completed 1 weeks work experience at Mace Construction Company. This was a placement experience meaning that myself and around 15 other students attended Mace for a week partaking in different activities aimed at showing us the construction world. We had the opportunity to attend seminars with heads of each department, visited different construction sites and completed sites done by Mace (Emirates Cable Cars and The Shard). This experience allowed me to develop connections with other young individuals and gave me an insight into what construction really consists of.

I spent 2 days shadowing the head of Business Transformation at EC Harris. I attended meetings and undertook one to one meetings with heads of various different departments including: PR, HR and finance. Although the experience was only short it allowed me to gain an insight into how the company worked and what each department did on a day to day basis.
